Who we are

Since its founding in 1986, Uirandê has been dedicated to offering an innovative approach to early childhood education. This ongoing effort has solidified the school as a leading institution in Espírito Santo.

With over 38 years of experience in education and care, we value affection and cognition as essential pillars of learning. With a constantly evolving pedagogical project, our students have access to a broad and diverse curriculum that includes sustainability, technology and interactivity, English, visual arts, and music in their daily activities.

Our philosophy encourages creativity, curiosity, collaborative work, cultural immersion, healthy eating, and the child's holistic development. Students feel encouraged to research, investigate, experiment, and take risks in new discoveries.

Uirandê's history, however, began even before its official founding. In 1969, an article published in the newspaper A Gazeta announced the creation of the first arts school for children in Vitória. This initiative gave rise to the project that, years later, would give rise to Uirandê, under the leadership of its founder, psychologist Ana Rita, who remains an active part of our daily lives to this day.

At the end of the 1960s, a trajectory marked by nature, art and a commitment to the full and harmonious development of children began to be written.
